~~~~~LEGENDARY’S BOOGIE BIO~~~~~

SOUL BROTHER LEGENDARY has been getting his boogie on professionally for over 22 years and is one of the pioneers of West Coast Hip Hop dance along with his comrades The Soul Brothers. The Soul Brothers created an abstract style similar to yet very different from their East Coast adversaries. It is this unique dance style commonly known as “Soul Brother Boogie” that continues to capture the imaginations of our new dance generations and has kept the Soul Brothers’ name ringing for the past two decades.

Even though The Soul Brothers are still an active group, the current state of the dance world as it is today, allows them to branch off into solo projects as well.

As a solo dancer, LEGENDARY focuses more on live performances, college lecture tours, and film and television, whereas his counterparts focus more on dance workshops and classes. Legendary explains, “I like to stay in my lane. There is plenty of room for everyone. Why flood the market? The others dancers enjoy workshops; I enjoy doing shows and making dope dance films.” And that is exactly what Legendary accomplished with his critically acclaimed best selling DVD, “THE SUNS OF JAMES BROWN.” The Suns of James Brown DVD has placed Legendary back in the forefront of Hip Hop dance where he belongs. Many hope he remains there for a long time to come.

Legendary is currently beginning to work on The Suns of James Brown II slated for release in late 2011, as well as working with artist Omarion and Chris Brown. Legendary will also begin touring again regularly starting December 2010.
